Our team grew to 34 volunteers today as we were joined by the St Maarten Youth Brigade to assist in loading the vehicles in preparation for distribution.

After loading up the trucks and vans, we sent a small team to inventory our food supplies donated to The K1 Britannia Foundation in preparation for distribution in the following days.

The rest of The K1 Britannia Foundation volunteers assisted the Koninklijke Marine and Government representatives with the distribution of food and water that was coordinated by the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development & Labor to both the St. Peters and Middle Region distribution points. 1000 people in total came out to receive portions of milk, oats, cornflakes, crackers, canned sardines and canned meat and of course water.

The smiles, talks, and appreciation shared between volunteers, children, and adults were the highlights of the day.
